Hey everyone, I dont know why, but I cant find that achievement…
I want to get the felfire hawk mount 
You first open the achievements tab then go to Collections - Mounts, scroll down a bit till you find the achievement that I think it’s called Lord of Reins at that point, one of those blue achievements. You click it and then you see your progress. If it’s not named that then you can check here https://www.wowhead.com/achievements/character-achievements/collections/mounts
I’m currently at 344 mounts myself, so close to getting the Biting Frosthard Core mount!

I cant that one either!
all I have is: Filling up the barn, Armored brown bear, Available in eight colors, Wooly Mammoth, Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth, Get to the Choppa!, Vial of the Sands, One Hump or Two, Leading the cavalry, Awake The Drakes.
and btw, how do I get 250 mounts? 
The “collect X mounts” achievements only pop up once you’ve done the previous “level” of it. So you won’t see the Felfire Hawk one until you’ve done the one before it.

You start grinding them. 
Start by just getting the vendor mounts, much gold is needed. For many you need to grind the reputation too to get them.
Then there’s some 100% drop dungeon and raid mounts, go for those and then Glory of Dungeon/Raider mounts. I recently finished Ulduar, easy to do with a good guide.

The easiest source to get a big chunk of the mounts needed is the racial mounts. They’re not overly expensive seeing as you have at least one max level character. So you just need a level 10 of each core race, or Exalted with their reputation, then you buy each version of the standard and epic mounts they have. Each unlocked allied race also gets you 1 racial mount.

There are some other achievements but they are more for specific mounts or mount types.

They need to add another one cause i’m already at the A horde of hoofbeats.
And without a achievment my passion for collecting mounts is withering away

Simple Armory is quite good to get an overview of what you are missing:-
Just look your own character up, it’s been updated to include the mounts coming in 9.1
