It is grating that they don’t give us ways to get the same things.

All this is doing, is making me care less and less.
I don’t need to get everything anymore, and it’s a releasing feeling. :dracthyr_shrug:

Because we’re just money to them

In what way is this US region only? Can’t the codes be redeemed on an EU account?

It may work like the Gummi promotion that if you have a US friend they can do all the necessary for you, like buy the product and claim the code from the US only website, then you can input the code into your EU account.

That is the only way, it seems, because you can’t even access the website without a VPN.

Can’t you use a VPN for this step?

Its probably some EU regulation that makes it difficult/problematic for this to happen. Buying trash food drink to get videogame rewards probably isnt so welcoming here. Not to mention the fact that who really cares. Different client different rules. How many people are crying when Chinese players get stuff that we dont have? Very few I would say.

Last week… Last 2 months of this expansion exactly showed us how Blizzard became a insanly greedy corpo, and it’s even not because of Kotick. It’s insane, and I think after 15 years I’m gonna quit. I don’t feel to be respected anymore. Terrible state of expansion, bugs, class balance, mediocre content, and insane cashgrabs everywhere.

Next week, buy 100 burgers and get a code for 700 ilevel items! Have an advantage over all your friends!

This system stinks, but Blizzard has to make back the money MS spent I guess.

I would presume so but not something I’d be willing to fork out for just to claim a code.

But as you need a promotional item from the US, you might as well get that friend to claim the code if you have someone who is willing to buy it for you.

Its very likely down to licensing and promotional push from PEPSI who own the Mtn Dew brand. While the Trolli promotion for Gummi (which I took advantage of) was worldwide redeemable its likely PEPSI are restricting the promotion to US owner accounts as the Mtn Dew brand is virtually unheard of outside the US. You can get Mtn Dew here but it is only the basic standard Mtn Dew.

Its unlikely PEPSI are going to allow promotions outside the US if no one outside the US is going to buy the product.

It isn’t Blizzard’s fault (for once), it’s the promoter, in this case PEPSI.

You can download Tunnel Bear, which is a free but limited VPN.

Wouldn’t that require them to log in on your account?

Still need someone to buy the stuff in US, but noted!

No they have to go on a website and claim the promotional code to turn it into a wow code. You can claim the wow code yourself on your own account.

Take the Gummi promotion, my friend got a code by having someone stateside buy the relevant promotion material, then go to a website and claim the promotional codes, then gave the wow codes to my friend. My friend used one code himself and gave the other to me.

I wish I had an overseas friend who didn’t mind risking their health to get me a code.

I don’t know if they consume the purchases tbh.
