No more than 5% playerbase have already more than 500 mounts (usable by a single character), rest players focus on other activities, they dont farm maniaclly like me and others do but 5% it’s still number to pay attention. From 5% probably dissapointed players really small percentege may leave game. But there is also 95% playerbase who are not affected by this problem.

Not everyone know there is also 1 more armored otter, and 3 unarmored incoming in Dragonflight, probably it will be reputation reward from Tuskar and other acitivies related to this faction
-
A lot of people who are even not close to get this mount says this mount is “SO CUTE” it’s look very unfair
-
Asmongold, popular wow streamer just joking about he’s idea for 500 mounts reward, i bet he dont gonna mention nothing about chaning yeti for otter, and this common mount probably will stay because of not enough criticism
-
Huge percentege of players even can be happy with that fact mount farmers got common reward for their effort because they dont farm mounts, they just buy mounts from store, tcg mounts, other expensive mounts… and enjoy riding only one favorite mount.
This all looks like sociological fun by game developers, 5% cant win against 95%

I wish they would remove the farm limit from old raids (they could make other loot stay weekly) or bring in a token system like timewalking for each expansion so we can get the mounts eventually.
I believe it’s called the Nirvana fallacy or the perfect solution fallacy.
Blizzard introduces an achievement mount that’s in line with the predecessors and afterward replace it with a different and newer type of mount based on player feedback (or because the initial was a placeholder).
People suggest various awesome mounts that they deem the perfect reward for the achievement, and because they’re not what Blizzard have settled on, then Blizzard’s solution isn’t acceptable.
That’s a fallacy, because it stems from an unwillingness to accept a solution because some self-imposed issues still exist with the solution. I.e. players have idealized a kind of reward from the achievement that is unrealistic. Players have set themselves up for disappointment.
You can’t fault Blizzard for that.

You’ve posted this several times today. Not sure why we need multiple posts about this?
I’m not disputing your stats just curious how you came up with the 5%
I thought it looked familiar, it’s hard to tell with all the other spamming going on.

Blizz main focus is on that 0,1%, i say 5% is kinda alot.
My post was hidden for no reason so i decide write it again because that what im writing here don’t break any rules and u can’t be judgment.
That data relies on profiles though.
Many never even register an account with wowhead.
Thanks for the clarification though. I don’t think there is any really reliable way to work it out
It was probably hidden because it was very similar to another thread you started. I’ve read three of them today from yourself so that’s likely why it was hidden.
I write this second post because i can’t reply on my first post and that’s all.
But if your other post is flagged and pending moderation, creating another post that is a replica is a breach of the forum Code of Conduct. We’ve seen a lot of threads about the same topics (admittedly about a different subject area) on the forums lately so it was just advisory to avoid more repetition.
So OP doesn’t like the Otter or… are you waiting for Asmon to tell you what to think?
Whats the problem exactly?

Probably because you have Swift Zulian Panther, the only mount you are riding
A hidden post doesn’t affect anything, only if the moderators delist your topic will it stop appearing on the forum list.
Not sure why that is related? But no, would use the otter!
What are you going to do if Asmon likes it though?
Is Asmon’s opinion that powerful?
