So here is what I did…

did storyline to unlock dh for void elf

created the void elf dh
-
boosted the character to 80 using my midnight pre-purchase option
-
logged in and chose to “catchup” quests

did the arathi quest chain when I notice that I could not access my Yak or my other mounts with repair npc on it
-
they are simply gone. I logged in another toon and they still there on that too but the newly created DH does not have any of those mounts.
further confusion…..I went to the vendor selling the grand expedition yak….still says “already known” but I can’t find it in the mount list
also it is not even in the list of mounts, collected or non collected, it simply is not there
also tried making another toon, same result, all other mounts is there except those with repair npc on them
so I had this GREAT idea of trying to use the /cast Grand Expedition Yak and that worked, but the mount don’t show in the mount list at shift-p
after last weekly its back, ty for whatever was done
