The moment i logged in i instantly realized something is wrong with the cursor ingame.
Normally if you right click and hold it, the cursor disappears but it doesn’t. But if you hold it and the moment you move it, it disappears. Same with the left click. It now only disappers if you click both left and right mouse button at the same time.

This change was done a very long time ago. It used to be like you said, but it’s not like that anymore. Wheter you right click or left click and don’t move it, the “Hand” will not disappear. But if you move your mouse, then it does. It’s a bug mate, it is just a change they did long time ago.

It is on Era mate. I am logged in right now, and just tripple checked it. Does the same, like you said.

I haven’t logged in on SoD, nor will I. So I don’t really know about the, “feel” of the mouse in SoD. But like I said, the “Hand” will not disappear until you move your mouse.

I have noticed this change too. I found a fix!
Download the addon “advanced interface options”, then search for the CVar called “cursor delta freelook”, set it to 0,001.
Fixed!

I think it’s been a thing since Shadowlands launched, unsure. But it is 100% fixable with what I wrote.
It’s also wacky for me, I thought I’m the only one.

The way you described it sounds EXACTLY like what I found the fix for. Had issues with this myself as I found it very annoying.

It does disappear. I was having very annoying issues where the right click didn’t “grab” the screen properly and couldn’t turn camera like I was used to. That’s when the cursor acted weird and reappeared. But I fixed that by changing polling rate and now all is fine, including cursor going away when right clicking.
Your fix didn’t work for me.
Advanced Interface Option addon 100% fixed it for me atleast
