I was one of the people having a problem with a stuttering mouse, which seems fixed since the update today. However, something still feels off. The mouse feels sluggish, like there’s a very small delay when I move it. It’s so subtle that some people might not notice, but I’m sensitive to it. The mouse doesn’t feel as responsive as before this all started. I know I’m not the only one because I see people saying the same on the US forum.
You mean cursor movement speed sometimes gets faster or slower?Ive got this problem after yesterday`s fix
I’m not sure, but it feels like there’s a small input lag when I move the mouse.
same …and it happens more with a pet class. Like the game wants to catch mini lags and cause some little accelerations cam’s mouve, specialy with right clic camera and just in combat … hard to describe , just very strange cause it’s never every times.
Maybe try toggling raw mouse input on or off and see if that changes anything.
Off:
/console rawMouseEnable 0
On:
/console rawMouseEnable 1
I tried that but no difference.
I tried Classic and my mouse is fine, it’s retail only issue ever since hotfix yesterday.
Same here. Since the last hotfix for sticky cursor problem, it feels bad and only happening in WoW. I have read about it in the US forums as well, so we are not alone, but so far no response from blizz.
I hope Blizzard is aware of this and doesn’t think the “hotfix” 2 days ago means problem solved.
For me its just movement speed of cursor sometimes up and down for some reason, thats why for example with the same force i started to miss very often since their “sticky” mouse hotfix, now im playing with (6 speed without enhance cursor on windows)+enabled accel for raw input mouse and disabled raw input, and its kinda play-able but sometimes yeah i still see it happens:(
Not only does my mouse still Freeze whenever I hover over a friendly or NPC in game, its now freezing when WOW isn’t even open anymore. And to top it all off my keyboard is now also having issues. Suddenly just stops working and then only fix I have found is to unplug it and try again!
That’s scary because I saw someone else say the WoW update is now causing mouse issues outside the game.
Well i can confirm yesterday starting WoW changed my windows mouse settings from position 6 to position 5,i only realised it when closed WoW and noticed mouse speed still higher even outside of the game
The best way to “make Blizzard notice” any ingame issues occurring after a hotfix or otherwise is to use the ingame bug report tool. These go straight to the developers themselves and while they can’t respond to the reports, I can assure you its among the best way’s to let them know about a bug.
The issue seems better now than 2 days ago but it’s still not what it was before the hotfix, slight mouse lag.
seems like there is some “skipping” when trying to right click and move the camera view in-game. Not sure if thats the same as what people are experiencing but something is definitely not right since earlier today.
still having problems with mouse getting stuck and resetting to the middle of screen.
I gotta say it’s fixed now.
I was having the exact same problem as described here. None of the above worked for me. For anyone still having this issue: I solved it by changing the DirectX setting from 12 to 11 Legacy
