Mouse wheel not zooming in or out

Hi guys,

For maybe the last two weeks, my wheel on the mouse in many sessions hasn’t worked for zooming in or out, which can be highly annoying, as sometimes the character is too large and I can’t see the surroundings properly, and sometimes the character is too small. Do you also experience the same issue? On certain occasions, I was able to log out and log in, and then somehow it worked. On other occasions, nothing at all, logging out didn’t help. I don’t use any addons, so that is not an issue. Even this evening, right now, it doesn’t work for me, no matter what I do. Could Blizzard fix this somehow, please? Thanks (BTW, my mouse is fully functional and wheel works outside of WOW perfectly fine)

Dunno if this is useful but I’ve had a mousewheel issue since the 11.2 launch but only on the character log-in screen.

I swear I used to be able to go that screen and then mousewheel up and down through my character list but not any more.

There are so many weird bugs around at the moment it’s ridiculous.

As for your problem, I know this is obvious but have you checked that your ‘mousewheel up’ and ‘mousewheel down’ are still actually keybound to ‘zoom in’ and ‘zoom out’?

And if they are, how about changing them to ‘shift-mousewheel up/down’ to see if that makes any difference.
