Okay so this is horribly annoying.
PW:L is bound to mouse5.
HW:S is bound to shift-mouse5.
Basic interface binding, two different buttons.
Case A - When I have 1) no target or 2) a target or 3) a mouseover IN THE PLAYING FIELD:
- mouse5 casts the correct spell (PW:L), and
- shift-mouse5 casts the correct spell (HW:S).
Case B - However, when I have a mouseover on 1) my portrait or 2) my interface frames, then:
- mouse5 casts the WRONG spell (HW:S), and
- shift-mouse5 casts the CORRECT spell (HW:S).
In other words, I cannot use mouse5 mouseover my interface to heal with the spell I want.
If I change the spells in question on the same binding (same location on action bar), Case A adapts to the correct spells.
However, Case B will STILL make me ONLY cast HW:S no matter what is bound, shift or not. Like there’s a hidden override that mouse5 on interface frames always means HW:S.
I have deactivated all addons to no avail. I reset CVars. I deleted WTF. No matter what I do, mouse5 on mouseover frames will ALWAYS cast HW:S and I don’t know why that is. Please help
