Mouseover Priority Macro

Hi guys, newbie to macros here looking to get better

The template of the macro I’m trying to create looks like this

/cast Drain Life (on target)
#but IF mouseover exists#
/cast [target=mouseover] Funnel Health (Target being pet)

I hope that makes sense if it can actually be done!

Would appreciate any help, thank you!

Hello Doddies,
the attempt is not bad but the order is wrong since the first spell which conditions are evaluated as “true” is executed. In your case “/cast Drain Life” has no condition which is by default evaluated as true and therefore Drain Life will always be casted.

For your functionality you want this macro:
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead] Funnel Health; Drain Life

I have not tested this macro but I hope it works out of the box. However, since “Funnel Health” automatically targets your pet this spell might also be activated if your cursor is hovering over another friendly target.
Therefore, you could (as an option) also use a modifier (e.g. alt) instead
/cast [mod:alt,@pet] Funnel Health; Drain Life
