So, it seems there’s a special mode on some UI elements that I’ll call “docked”. For instance, with the default setups, if you move action bar 1 then action bar 2 and 3 and pet/stance bars all move down and “collapse” to the bottom of the screen because they were “docked” on bar 1. Actually everything in the center of the screen seems affected - cast bar, talking heads, etc.
I’m pretty sure these “docked” items have dynamic positioning vertically. So if your pet bar isn’t out, the casting bar and talking heads move down a bit. If extra abilities show up, then these things move up so things aren’t overlapping. That kind of thing.
I’d like to move Action Bar 1 down (to fill the weird gap between it and the xp bar) without screwing up all the “docked” stuff above it. While I could just reposition everything else in the center of the screen, I think that gives it “absolute” positioning instead of “docked” so it no longer dynamically moves to not overlap.
I think there is a similar thing happening on the right side of the screen where the open bags won’t overlap action bars 4 and 5, unless you reposition 4 or 5 in any way and then open bags will cover them up.
Wondering if there is possibly a way to move these bars while keeping them “docked”, as this makes me not want to move stuff around. Thanks.
