Move SoD to TBC

It’s the only logical thing to do. Vanilla endgame is ok (besides AQ40 /shiver) but I can’t see SoD surviving long on the simple bossfights. Atm SoD is thriving because of the phases but once the true 60 endgame unlocks it’s going to be a different story. If they announce the Dark Portal opening it will bring back players who want to gear up to prepare for TBC.

Obviously they need to tune/remove some runes but they can add loads more in Outland.

What are they gonna do after SoD? Give us yet another vanilla? We’ve had 4 editions so far, it’s time for TBC to return.

Hope they wont do that, they need do some fresh content, most of runes is just skills from Tbc/wotlk.

Will be good for me.

So they add runes that are abilities from cata and onwards? Or what do you mean with fresh content?

Totaly new locations, fresh start for wow moving in different direction, not just classic with some changes. Just cant see them making one more classic that alil behind from current classic, with lil changes.

i agree SoD should move to TBC after all hases are done - but i am 100% sure they will be adding damage, mechanics and difficulty to MC, BWL and AQ raids, and Naxx, and they will release atleast 1 new raid - likely emerald dream, possibly crypts as well, before we get there. but around a year from now, id love to pass through the portal with SoD

SoD is just a test run for the team to play with classic using modern features, as far as i have read. idk but based on quite a few comments it seems some people think it is permanent…

problem with moving to BC/WOTLK is again number inflation.

I would rather see after phase 5,6 or whatever characters being reduced to let’s say somewhere between 20th and 40th level and new zones added with level cap again being 60 with new raids.
I.E. all end game vanilla raids removed or nerfed to 10man raids and all TBC 40 raids added instead.

add all new skills that goes with it, but rework them to level 60 MAX.

only people really play sod for is hopium we will get the classic+ content eventually,if we skip that and just move to tbc the playerbase will disappear in a month

i play it knowing my character and everything will be deleted when they finish up their tests…

Dont need it in TBC.
We are looking at classic+ here, I want more content on Kalimdor and Azeroth!

I’ve a different idea completely, keep it classic but add in certain cataclysm zones/expanded areas but with different content more befitting classic. As For TBC, they can add the updated low level dungeon and quest blues which came with that Theramore patch. Also, update that zone to that patch for SoD or any future WoW classic revamp, it is great fun.

Hence my idea, there’s a lot of Pre-TBC lore and events surrounding Quel’Thalas/Silvermoon/The Sunwell which could possibly be explored here as well!

yes i agree i don’t want TBC and other or more version to the games. i just wish they focuse add here new content revamp stuff dungeon etc… what they did so fare is good. the only thing they have to add more quality life for us here, and as i said up new content in this era. or revamp some old stuff add some stuff from lore. they can make nice things with it.

I like TBC and I would love to see SOD going into TBC.

First of all they should keep adding content that they never added in vanilla first, new dungeons, new areas etc, yes adding new areas etc can make it hard for making SOD going into TBC later if they would add ghostlands etc.

But there is so many possibilities with SOD and if they devs have time and resources to acually do something seriously with SOD, new zones like Mount Hyial, Ghostlands, Uldum etc, new dungeons and no cheap copy like DFC, give us new dungeons/areas, not a copy paste kinda thing.

Seems the karazhan dungeon will be some kind of a heroic dungeon due to its 24 hour lockout, give us more hc dungeons, dont mean you need to make every dungeon a heroic version. Open up CoT with new dungeons where we go back in time.

One CoT dungeon could be when Stormwind falls, eaither playing as a horde when they invade or you play as ally and trying to defend the city. (Whatever the devs think would be the best route to go here and what ideas they could come up with?)

Another dungeon could be Grim batol, not the one from Cata or when it came out, a whole new concept of it.

Make a revamp of ghostlands comepletly, add 1 new raid there and 2 new dungeons, the raid will be the city, then you have ZA there to make something of aswell.

If this is something the devs acually cant do for whatever reason, then it would be better to let us move to TBC imo.

Pls don’t go tbc just stay in the classic world and build on that plenty of stuff

No character should ever end up on a dead realm frozen in time. Or at least every character should be given an opportunity to continue being developed in a following expansion.

If the devs are not willing to do SoD TBC, just let us move to normal TBC when anniversary comes there. All SoD-unique items should be removed, it goes without saying.

hell no hope tbc end up being dead it a dog water expansion

This is some type of nonsense I will never understand. Why oppose having an expansion? Why do you hope it ends up dead? If you dislike it, just skip on it, do not play it. Why do you hate the idea that some people might play and enjoy it? Out of pure spite?

u already got tbc it’s coming in 1 year go have fun on the classic experience and keep my sod characters away from that.

You can choose not to transfer and let your SoD character rot on a dead SoD era realm if that’s what you wish for.

I want to continue developing my character. I also want to play TBC on a developed character without having to go through vanilla for the 10th time now that we just did it anyway.
