Just joined the new exspansion. Is there any movement speed gear in shadowlands? I used to use my dark iron dwarf with legion/bfa gear, but after the legendaries got deactivated all my speed buffs got wasted.
you can get movement speed shards from SoD
it can also be a rare additional stat on gear but yeah, i wouldnt specifically farm for it because its random and rather rare, at least i assume it is.
I built a speed set this expansion, reaching 180% movement speed for a total cost of like 40k but that’s due to me getting BoEs with speed. You can grab green pieces with speed relatively cheap from the AH.

chances of me spending any money just to walk a bit faster? zero. 
get speed greens with sockets, then make sure you socket them all with atleast one of them being the gem that increases speed for each gem socketed
Our ele shaman got the nickname “racecar” during Painsmith progression. Can barely catch up to him even while sprinting with a base speed of 128% (enchant, gem, passive etc)
you dont need movement speed you have hamstring/shout
