Hey, as the title says.
I know it wont be protected as there will be 2 separate trades, but is there anything in the ToS that means you cant trade gold in retail for gold in classic?

I’m not sure but I imagine it’s frowned upon as there isn’t a supported way to do it so it’s open to abuse and you could lose your gold and be scammed.
I would go by the rule that if you aren’t sure then it’s not worth the risk.
It’s not against ToS unless you pay real money for it.
This is what i was thinking. But then I’m worried about getting caught in an automated system for receiving x amount of gold on classic in exchange for nothing. Might just make a ticket and ask.
Relax mate, trading in game is not forbidden and not banable, regardless of how much gold is traded.
I read an earlier post it is actually confirmed by the staff it is against the ToS. But feel free to make another ticket I suppose.
I wouldn’t try to do this until I heard it from someone that actually works for Blizzard.
Well that’s a risk, but there’s nothing to save you from that, becaue you can’t prove that you hadn’t pay real money for that gold. I doubt even providing screenshots of you giving the gold on retail will help much.
