Im getting a new pc this week and im on a really slow connection , in my current build i have 1 hdd with wow + my windows os on and 1 ssd that has some games on it but alot of space that is unused , can i copy / paste wow from my hdd onto my current ssd and install my current ssd in the new pc and change the filedirectory of wow in bnet or do i need to reinstall the entire game?
wow, yes. you can copy paste that however you like and it’ll work fine.
as for other programs, it varies. sometimes it will work, sometimes it will not.
As I’ve done it before I can confirm that it’s doable. You’ll just need to tell battlenet where you moved wow to and then it should work
