Hey folks I have a funny situation. I play world of warcraft on my msi katana but when I finish playing (I want to emphasis FINISH playing). The laptop stays active for a few minutes then suddenly shuts off. I can play wow without any issues for hours, this problem only seems to occur when I finish playing.
If I don’t play world of warcraft and play somthing else or just do general laptop bits and bobs I have no issues what so ever. It only happens when I end wow.
Does anyone have any advice how to fix this at all?
Hey Trov thanks for getting back to me. I actually shared this on a couple of forums and they all said the same as you. It looks like it might of been the game input service. After uninstalling it restarting and setting it to automatic in services it seems to have been fixed. But I’ve only tried it out the once after a very long raiding session. I came out the game and the laptop didn’t restart.
Further investigation points to either a Windows 11 update or the actual update from 10 to 11 causing the problem.
