Very spikey tank but so fun and the meta tank for sarth 3d farming
It was subpar however because of parry haste being pretty much impossible to negate. It was less of an issue in ICC given only 2 bosses still had it however. It was still fun regardless.
I liked it the best time to be a dk
Gladiator spec was insanely fun in Wod, Got amazing feedback. Then they just randomly stright up removed it.
The most fun Iâve ever had in the game with any class in the game was warlock in mop.
When something is fun, keep it! donât remove it. I donât mean being OP. Balancing numbers is fine, if done correctly.
No.

Oh and before i forget it you can also call me when they return chi and stance swapping to mistweavers.
I have alts that I job skipped when it went on sale so I can use the retainers. I make a lot of gil as each alt has 9 retainers. I have them in my own fc so depositing the gil I make from sales goes to my main. I was able to buy my own house from it.
I enjoy some group content but love how much I have to do to keep me busy when solo.
ESO is my other game on console and I really enjoy the companion system. They also have a new dailies system to earn currency to buy store mounts⊠yes it will take ages but its still good to have.
I keep holding on to Shokadin and then respeccing to Ret again after just a day of world quests.
I remember Mop prepatch Shokadin was amazing. They nerfed it before MoP launch, and although I did level to 90 as Holy, it was so depressing after the few blissful days before.
Anyone remember Timeless Isle and that one item that gave you a druid ability for an hour? My Paladin casting Wrath while farming frogs was the best.
I havenât reallg played ESO since the year it launched, but I loved the swap between weapons and roles. Not sure it would work in WoW, but I think itâs fun.
The system in FF14 stresses me out, because I will probably never reach max level and just jop from one class to the next on the same char.
Thereâs nothing wrong with doing that. A viewer of mine got interested in FFXIV after watching my stream, so in turn, I was interested to see how they handled it. I recommended (quite strongly - and repeatedly - but in a subtle way) that they should try to pick a class they liked and then use that to blast the MSQ for an easy ride to max-level, then use that to their advantage when levelling alts.
They decided against that and levelled jobs sporadically - which didnât impact them at all because thereâs plenty to do with that method. As said, each job (including gatherers and crafters) have their very own story. You can go the typical âgrind dungeons all dayâ route, or do hunts, check out POTD, do some PvP, do your roulettes, try synced content, do those sub-quests dotted around the map, do your FATES, do Leves, etc, etc, etc â and that doesnât even mention the plethora of other side-content you can consider to pass the time.
They still reached max-level quite quickly, had a blast with the main story, and had a range of jobs at about level 30-60 to swap between whenever they wanted something different or wanted to change role. TLDR: you can play whatever you feel like on a whim â itâs just quicker and slightly more efficient to get something to max-level first so that everything you play after that will always get an XP bonus, but thatâs far from mandatory.
I think that they are different games designed around different mechanics.
I think FFXIVâs class system works within FFXIVâs context. 1 char 1 class is core to WoW. I think subclasses will come at some point (like warriors with stealth, mages that can toss chaos bolts).
In the lore, void and fel classes (I mean, warlock) is incompatible with something like paladin. In FFXIVâs lore, youâre just an adventurer who set out to learn all the skills. But in WoW, each class has some kind of a lore background, and thatâs why it canât work.
nah, not a fan. i enjoy playing different characters and especially different races. having a character comparable to a swiss army knife would destroy it.
Technically it is only Void. Fel and Light are still possible as seen with Lothraxion or the trying to lightforge Illidan. But yeah actually the lore is contradicting there with the Disciple priest that is trying to Balance light and Shadow.
