Posted a topic here before and am doing it again. Impossible to farm any herb in Nazjatar. Multiboxers come and deplete all nodes. It’s exhausting and honestly gives way too many problems. Have seen a lot of responses regarding that so let me answer to those:
-
no multiboxers dont make the price of zin anthid fall, in fact quite the opposite. Zin anthid on mys erver reached 150 gold/unit with only 2 sellers that were selling over 8000 units of zin anthid. 2 multiboxers have the monopoly on everything and therefore do their own prices . other people cannot even compete becasue of the depleted nodes 24h/24h. So no, it doesn’t benefit the economy of the server.
-
No it’s not teh same as farming with 10 people on the map. I have been in a phase where there were 10 individual players farming zin anthid and i got three or four times in an hour the number of zin anthid I usually get when there is a multiboxer around.

although it does not count as botting and blizzard deliberately chose to close an eye on this it is game breaking and is you are onw armode it is impossible to even compete with a multiboxer that will attack you on sight (happened to me many times)

Finally, the worst kind are those that are serverhopping, and deplete nodes of our server to go sell the herbs on another.
This problem is getting out of hand and an increasing number of people is pissed about that. I am beginning to hope that all multiboxers get their account permanently banned while I know that it’s not an offense big enough to deserve that. Fix this during bfa or at least fix this for shadowlands.
Since vanilla i’ve been always farming my own material and now an external program with game breaking mechanics is making this impossible. How the hell is this still not banned?
quickly went over blizzard terms and conditions:
Harassment, “griefing,” abusive behavior or chat, conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others, deliberate inactivity or disconnecting, and/or any other activity which violates Blizzard’s Code of Conduct or In-Game Policies.
“any other activity that violates Blizzards code of conduct or in game plicies”: very well, let’s take a look:
Cheating
You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Having 10 characters farming and depleting any node is an unfair advantage over any player, plus it uses a program that replicates and automatizes therefore all the commands used by teh player. This software is authorized by blizzard so i’m going to focus on teh unfair advantage.
Taking all the nodes depleting them for other players confers an unfair advantaage: with Warmode on having 10 players to kill only 1 is also an unfair advantage, therefore multiboxing SHOULD be considered as cheating by blizzard own temrs and conditions.
Behaviour
Behaviour that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment (such as griefing, throwing, feeding, etc.) is unacceptable. We expect our players to treat each other with respect, and promote an enjoyable environment. Acceptable behaviour is determined by player reports and Blizzard’s decision, and violating these guidelines will result in account and gameplay restrictions.
Now multiboxing that kill other single players on sight in warmode also violate the code of conduct. It is unacceptable that multiboxing is still authorized.
