I thought Blizz was starting to hammer down on these guys ? I still find them everywhere and in massive amounts.
Seriously they ruin entire questing areas because they take all the mobs.
Some run like over 10 chars at a single time.

Just because it’s not against the “law” doesn’t mean people won’t do it.
Also you can still multi-box, you just can’t use the software.
Didn’t they change their statement to make it mainly focused against bots?

The software is what was and is still banned. Which makes it harder for all types of multi-boxers.
But somebody is still allowed to have multiple WoW windows open with /follow commands and manually make it work.
You can still report them

You do realise that you can report them right…presuming their all casting abilities at the same time etc.

If they hinder other players quests they should just be reported. They are just pathetic, just like the ppl ( mostly also multiboxers) who sit on their behind at ah pressing cancel and repost 24/7 but its Blizzard allowing it in the end.
i think they would be silly to ban having multiple instances open
its not really any different to having 6 laptops next to you. blizz could ban it completely and the people who do it would find a way to do it.
the core issue is that it is just too profitable. and that comes from a combination of poor economic design, ease of access systems such as the non instant node respawns, and the ability to pay for subs with gold
and then the difficulty of actually proving its all the same person. epically with the different machine example it could just be a group of friends.
That’s why they target the software that’s being used, if people are all casting the same spell at the same time you can be sure they are multi boxing but if there are slight delays of even a fraction of a second, well that’s normal human behaviour. and once you start banning people for normal human behaviour its too easy to catch innocent people by mistake and you end up creating a problem that is much bigger than the original.
if blizzard was serious about solving this problem they would need to overhaul there economy in such a way that multi boxing didn’t provide such a large advantage
that said if a player/s are ruining your questing and gameplay that essentially becomes griefing which is an offence so please report them weather its 1 person or 6 it docent matter griefing is grefing
But, they buy tokens for subscriptions.
When they farm golds so faster. Like they had free subscriptions.
It’s why ban multiboxers
Just report them and they will be gone.
