Shouldn’t something be done about them? They are harmful to all players. Every time i go to do some farming i find them, eating all farms. It’s literally every time, day or evening, midnight or morning. And then they ruin the market which ruin the economy, making it unstable.
Yeah i know they pay the sub 10 times more than the normal player, but i don’t care. Because if they continued like this more people will be upset, which means more people will dislike the current state of the game ( Which is already bad enough ) and which will results in canceling sub, which is something i am considering now since i can’t enjoy doing any farming like before, and i am sure there is other players who are considering the same thing.
I agree and i can swear the only ones that are going to say otherwise are either multiboxers or people who don’t have any single idea.
I’ve honestly only seen a multiboxer like 4 times in BFA so far, I’ve never understood how people can run in to them literally every time
You need to see multiboxers as 5 (example number) different players, it’s literally that. The software they use is not against ToS when done properly. Multiboxing has been in the game since vanilla, stop whining mr snowflake.
maybe its a realm specific thing?
i have only seen multiboxers when im sharding to someone elses realm because of quests or mob kills or whatever.
cant remember if i have ever seen one on my realm to be honest. its like people complaining about level 1 boost seller characters who spam trade chat. there are next to none on my realm but for others it seems to be quite the issue.
yeah but only because it has been done since vanilla and it doesnt violate tos does it mean that its a good thing though?
Whining? It’s pure complaint. They ruins the farming and monopolism it. How i am supposed to enjoy doing some farming if i barely find it?
At very least i see them like 5 times each day, and that’s when i try to avoid them.
multiboxers are rare and thus a non issue, this guy probably encountered the same multiboxer being faster at picking flowers in a certain zone and is now on a salty rant
Excuse me? Now you call me salty rant? I have flying since weeks with 310% flying speed and i know many farming spots yet i always find multiboxers, and no. It’s not the same multiboxer, They are 4 different multiboxers i know so far.
Now stop trying to act like you are the expert here, because i’ve been doing this farmings for weeks so i know what’s going on exactly.
I’ve farmed 6k ores last patch, close to that this patch, leveled alchemy on two chars(150-170 skill) for which I picked all the herbs myself and honestly I think I ran into a multiboxer once in recent times.
So across 4 high/full realms I almost never see any for the entire BFA yet he somehow runs into them literally every time. I call BS
Seriously? If that is true then i envy you

Wanna come by and meet them then? Can guarantee that you will see different ones ![]()
Idk I never go farm. Just to go farm.
Meaning idk farming spots that well, all the things I picked/mined was done in the framework of doing emissary quests.
ie. I go do emissary and collect everything I can find that isn’t that far from the path I’m doing. The path is designed to minimize time between wq’s and not for maximum yield of mats, so I probably miss some spots which might be farm spots for multiboxers.
Tldr: I don’t go out of my way with farming and maybe that has something to do with not encountering multiboxers.
Just enable warmode and you will not see them again. /follow command is not working if you have WM ON so all multiboxers play with WM off.
Aren’t our WM in nazjatar are overrun by the alliance? ( Talking about Kazzak )
No. Generally speaking.
I have 3 chars on Kazzak that I play with, all my chars have WM on and just going by memory, once in 2-3 days there is a mess at Newhome and mostly only on one char when you log in.
The other two are usually sharded elsewhere.
Example from yesterday, was on druid (kazzak), PvP event starts, don’t need pearls on that char, I insta log out, log in mage (kazzak) because I need the pearls and I’m sharded into the npc version of the event.
yea theyre scum, most of us agree, but blizzard fakes the player numbers by allowing them so it will never ever change.
Honestly, while they are not that common as Waygos implies, the multiboxers are common enough.
I see at least one per week (that includes all possible zones - from westfall /for w/e reason/ to Nazjatar), though I tend to gtfo of the general vicinity they’re in as fast as possible. it is quite annoying when you have a group of boomkins spamming aoe, after all.
Ideally, I would prefer for blizzard to come with a code that shards such people out, so that they can remain in their happy little place and so that us normal players can farm in peace.
P.S. Also, I am more than convinced that at least 60 % of those multiboxers are in fact bots, considering their movement and lack of any interraction that a normal person would do.
