Hello Azeroth,
This is a pro-multiboxing thread. If you hate multiboxing and can’t restrain yourself please move on.

There are some things that need to be said. Something has to change.
In this post I will address 3 main issues.
Firstly: Multiboxing is allowed, please stop saying that it is not.
Secondly: Stop harassing multiboxers, wow needs to be a safe environment for ALL players, including multiboxers.
Thirdly: Automated banwave

  1. Multiboxing is not a violation of the ToS. However, the use of keystroke broadcasting software is a violation of the ToS. There are a lot of players that think that multiboxing is not allowed and wrongly report players for botting. Multiboxers are capable of controlling several characters especially when they don’t have to move. We just switch the game windows fast. Yes, we do standstill farms and that is allowed.

  2. Stop harassing multiboxers. This is not to play the victim card, but it is a witch hunt out there. So many people think multiboxing is not allowed anymore and therefore they feel emboldened to call multiboxers names, report them even though they know its not a bot and just being rude and abusive. World of Warcraft needs to be a safe gaming environment for ALL players.

  3. Yesterday there was an automated banwave and a lot of multiboxers got hit. However, most of us got our accounts back after 30 hours. If there is an artificial intelligence that bans players, it should at least know the difference between bots and multiboxers.

The vast majority of people who run more than one are druids and they pick flowers faster than they can click on multiple screens. This is even if they 6 little boxes on one single screen.

You wont find any sympathy here. At least not from me.

I find multiboxing as a form of cheating no matter what blizzard allows.

I got 2 mails in-game in the last 1 week about people getting banned after i reported them for multiboxing. Felt better than any loot i ever got.

Personally I reported a multiboxer I suspected of using keystroke broadcasting software a week or so ago. I saw them a few times on the same herbing route and watched them, all 4 characters picked the herb at the exact same time and there is no way they were controlling those characters seperatly by quickly swapping between screens, no one moves that fast.

If you aren’t breaking the rules you won’t get caught up in these ban waves.

When multiboxers stop harassing players by depleting all the damn nodes they find right in front of them leaving players wandering around, i guess we players will stop harassing you guys as well.

Where is your stats that most of them got back?
I know you will defend this disgusting playstyle because you actually do it but that doesnt mean you actually convince us.

Ill report any toon i suspekt of breaking the rules, if some multiboxers that are not breaking the rules also gets reported at that time then that is what happens, then im going to trust that blizzard can see the difference when they make a ban wave, else it is up to the person banned to say to blizzard they where wrong.

and 30 hours ago would be around 14:00 and not 20:00 yestarday /facepalm

Bit funny that you say yesterday. Which is not today. Over here I’m 20 hours into today so I don’t see 30 hours or there about as impossible if it happened yesterday. It all depends on the time of said ban wave.

How do you not get bored/tired tabbing through 8 game windows on every single herb for hours and hours. There are some who do it in like 10-15 seconds, so i know its actual normal person, but there are lot of those that herb with 8 druids in 2-3 seconds, and that doesnt seem humanly possible, unless ofcourse, multiboxers arent human.

I support multiboxers who respects the other players around them, and this ongoing multiboxer-shaming is harassment of other players. Sadly such harassment is allowed.

You beg for sympathy in the wrong place my dude.

  • If you have a problem with the system > go complain to the ones that make it
  • Reporting players does not break the ToS, it’s not abusive. A player can’t choose to ban another one. If you feel that the ban is abuse then you feel that the system is abusing you > this post is irrelevant
  • It’s not your job to educate the players about the report system > I think you know who’s job is
  • Have fu… oh wait, you don’t even know what that word truly means, nvm
