Hello, I have a question for you fellow mount/mog farmers.
It’s about some of the items where you according to the dungeon journal have a chance to get it from several difficulties.
For instance, I’m going after G.M.O.D from that BFA raid right now. My question is do you only have 1 chance per character across all difficulties, or do you have a chance per character per difficutly each week.
Is there someone who know they did like LFR that week, didnt get the mount, then went normal and got it? Mounts like GMOD, Hound from Antorus, Serpent from ToS.

Multiple difficulties means the mount can drop in every run you do on that difficulty. For example if a mount drops in Mythic Heroic and normal you have 3 chances per char per week to earn it. Some mounts might drop from different bosses or not at all in LFR so this is something you have to take into account.

Have you personally done several difficulties for a mount on a char for that week and have it drop on a run after the first difficulty?
I have yes. And I have had it happen to a friend as well quite recently. The only reason you wouldn’t be eligible for something is if the boss was unlootable. Believe me I have farmed enough mounts that I know how these things work

Edit I see you are also a big mount collector. I find it weird you have never had it happen to you.
Raid drops do not behave like rare mobs in the open world. Normal, heroic and mythic all have seperate loot lockouts. Different matter for old raids such as ICC.
Honestly I was just really unsure, because it was not something I was thinking of back when farming for instance antoran chardhound or the abyss worm, Just don’t want to spend hours farming without a point, ya know? But thank you for confirming!
