Multiple players banned for war effort farming

Just unlucky if they didn’t cheat.

I’ve farmed thousands of ogres in Deadwind Pass, mailed the loot to different chars without a ban.

As mentioned above, appeal - appeal and appeal until Justice is served.

Sadly the way the system works is that if you send alot of items or gold to a new account chances are you will get banned no matter how you obtained those items or gold.

I know two people who had their accounts closed due to farming materials for the War Effort. The ban reason was “Abuse of Economy.” They appealed and were unbanned a few days later. These bans are automated.

Mailing that amount will surely flag thier accounts try to talk to Blizzard. My friend got banned for goldselling when he traded gold from his char to a Guildie and back to his alt (same account)
They lifted the ban after he talked to them.

Unbans seems to have started going out so it was very much a mistake and will be sorted out over the week

On a twist to what Agent Kujan says about guilty people sleeping after they are caught in The Usual Suspects, do you think guilty people don’t appeal if they’re caught botting?

btw if you know the film do you notice that the only person sleeping when they are thrown in jail at the start of the film for the hijacking is Hockney, who actually did it.

Exactly!

So what did you learn???

I would be so freacking fun if all the mats we need to open the gate change !

Anyone saying 3k linen bandages is suspect and a bot has farmed has never been to a war effort before.

All these try hard guilds you love to hate farm the equivalent to 3k bandages every few weeks for war effort. In my guild it is a requirement as are gold donations for buying other mats for other donations.

Im surprised by the chasm between top 1% and the rest of the player base this time around in classic. Its so much bigger than it was originally.

If you honestly believe that Blizzard never has and never will accidently ban innocent players then you are truly clueless.
Hopefully one day you, yourself, are caught up in the system and banned yourself. Maybe then you’ll see that Blizzard isn’t as flawless as you think.

I don’t believe that, just like you don’t believe all banned players are innocent.
