is there any maintenance happening? all big server for me are offline on monday 04/12/2023.

WOTLK is officially dead.
Aerie Peak/ Bronzebeard etc. are all offline, booted out fighting moruud (or whatever he is called) and now stuck on loading screen.
edit - Managed to log in characters in valdrakken. Non in Emerald Dream and currently stuck on loading screen in Deepholm
edit 2 - deepholm was a bust and it seems stormwind is too (lots of alts).
edit 3 - maldraxus, also a bust. Only frostfire and ogrimmar left to try.
edit 4 - lmao got in in orgrimmar, only to be met with a server shutdown!
Same for Draenor - server is up, but “Character not found”

lmao, extreme load? We had 12m users 15 years ago, not sure 1m today is counting as extreme

Can’t login on Draenor, loading screen bar won’t finish at all. And the WoW website is slow as well.
About 1/3 of the servers are offline as well.
Managed to get in now, but don’t know for how long I can stay online.
Getting the same on Azuremyst, had to manually select realm on login, and getting “character not found” when trying to enter.
It’s the same with me. all closed

Got kicked from game doing a mythic+ with guild and now unable to log into the game as stuck on load screen, checked realm status and mine is up but many others are down. Even took me 10 mins to get onto the forums because of the lag here…
Argent Dawn isnt listed as down, However i still cant access it, but some can it seems…
Yeah, 15 years ago when WoW was at it’s peak. Why would they pay for maintaining servers for 15m people when only around 1m is playing currently? It’s obvious they downgraded the servers to cut costs
got kicked out of game and then trying to rejoin it says 1 min wait time due to server is full. however i got though and then it put me though to server select for some reason,. I select my server Moonglade nothing happens and the game crashes with error.
I just manage to get onto to select my character . on loading screen it get to 80% then it gose back to select character screen. Oh great now says “character not found”
Everything started to go to hell about 20 min ago. Then server crashed and now nothing works. EU/Wild Growth

Disgusting lag everywhere. In game, in site, even the gnomes at Goldshire Inn are lagging…
