Multiple Whispers Hidden

I recently asked for help in General chat with a WQ. Two people turned up, so I whispered one, then invited both.

After we had finished the quest, I thanked them and left.

Upon closing the whisper window a bit later, I was dismayed to see two more whispers hidden behind it, which I hadn’t realised were there and not replied to at the time. :disappointed:

Is there a way for the whisper windows to vertically stack, with just the name tabs showing, so I Know there 3 whispers please ?

I would like to avoid them sticking out across the screen
as I have enough trouble seeing stuff as it is lol. :telescope:

It would also be lovely if the combat tab could sit on top of the general tab out of the way too. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You can tweak the whisper behavior via Interface > Social > New Whispers.

Personally I have it set to In-line then have manually created chat tabs for Whisper, Guild, Party. That way those communications appear both in my General tab and in the Whisper or whatever specific tab.



There’s also addons like WoW Instant Messenger that can change how your whispers work, I’ve personally never used it.
