There’s no particular species I’d REALLY want badly. Maybe tuskarr would be nice.
But honestly, I’d rather see them focussing on improving already existing races with more options and race specific stuff.

I wouldn’t play as a murloc. For those who like animals we already have worgen, tauren, vulpera.

with they can make vulpera than murlock is race to be playable with much more reason than vulpera
I always thought murlocs are primitive creatures not capable of training as any of the classes in game. No one understands what they say. They haven’t built anything apart from few huts here and there.

Hear me out… Let them have it hm? And their Ogres… Saberons and all etc… Then I don’t know… Maybe when they finally get their High elves. Ogres. Murlocs and Saberons, Tuskars and everything.

The only murloc I would ever RP with is Randall.
Would rather see the long forgotten Forrest trolls be playable. The Revantusk are allied with the horde.

Why not, elves are the coolest in the game. We still need Quel’dorei High Elves that hopefully could become paladins. And I don’t think I would wonder what class/race combo to play ever again.
Let murlocs stay as an NPC race.

I agree, people like OP need a race they can identify with so they can enjoy gmae more. LEt them have murlocs.
I wanted ma Murloc main like forever, also wanted it as a 3rd fraction either truly neutral and to do any quest (as mercenary), or war mode vs horde and ally,
but choosing a side could be a thing, still, you should be able to do quests at most Murloc hotspots as a racial. This would be huge :o
