Do i need to do something specific to get him to spawn? His cave has been empty for like 8 hours now

He’s on a 12 hour spawn. And it’s not set either so can spawn 1 min - 12 hours later. As far as I’ve seen any way. I know for sure its over 2 hours.
Did you actually sit in the cave for 8 hours waiting for him to spawn?

Then I’ve been lucky, I’ve waited only like 30mins.
