Murozond's Rise needs to be removed

Why so? People are making such exaggeration of this mechanic. In reality, all it requires is 1 ranged dps to stand in the orbs, and the rest of the group to fu** off as soon as they spawn. When the first one explodes, the ranged dps soaking the other one, waits 3-4 seconds untill the debuff runs out and people are topped up, and then runs out of the orb to pop it. I really don’t know why someone would require comms or any extra communication.

Also to address this. People are so intimidated by this maze, it’s crazy. In reality all you have to do, is go there with your chilled mind and you will beat it instantly. I maybe fail once in 5-6 attempts. There’s 2 things to keep in mind and you’ll get it every single time:

  • Don’t run behind someone, just choose your own path. You will get hit by the shockwave cones since the person infront of you baits it.
  • Just take your time. It’s not the end of the world if you wait for 1-2 seconds inbetween. No need to rush.

They probably added even more time than was needed to compensate there, but it still feels weird where you just run through an empty space with nothing but a harsh, unrelenting timer for your company. Easy to understand why. You can theoretically perform well and destroy a pull faster than usual but you can’t perform well in a running in a straight line competition. It doesn’t fit well into this whole M+ idea.

There’s also the thing with Rise being the single hardest dungeon this season.

RP is boring but mindlessly running from trash to trash is not? Really?

I mean it’s def a pretty challenging dungeon from start to finish on both tyrann/fortified.

Overall not a fan of the DF dungeons, and the Dawn dungeons are topping it because there isn’t even 1 second nice in there.

people mistake diffuculty with design .

in theory chromie dungeons are very nicely designed they are just chalenging due to tuning and few spots which are dodgy .

thye just dont fit m+ .

That isnt the reason you didnt time the key. The reason you didnt time the key was because you didnt do the bits between the RP and flying fast enough.

yes but thats because of tuning.

dungoens are AD or WM are sooo much easier because of they are tuned much much lower.

and everything is much more visible becase legion/ bfa dungeons has much less visual clutter in there because they didnt design it so heavily around mdi back then

It also helps this are actually dungeons where you can make descisions about how and where and many to pull. And without mazes and too many overlapping swirlies during heavy damage intakes.

I just ran Rise on +18 the other day with 10 mins above the timer tbh. But it was absolutely horrible in week one with low gear and a lot of people not settled in on the mechanics, I admit and I was rather surprised about the outcome. Didn’t even care to run this one on tyrannical. I guess they’ve nerfed it.

A lot to do with group set up also though. My key was originally +19 and the first group dissolved because the healer decided after two packs, he won’t run this key with that tank. 2.7k tank mind you. Healers words: “Omg worst tank ever!” /leave :joy: So yeah…

I’m not a fan of it simply because it makes you go around on those dragons or whatever when you enter the portals.

I’ve DCed more than once when I enter them and then when I can finally log back in I’m in freefall without a dragon. I’d rather we just stand and wait at the portal to get teleported to the other one than this if they can’t fix this.

It’s called Opening the Dark Portal (also known as the Black Morass) followed closely by the Violet Hold and Assault on the Violet Hold.

So you claim this is the worst dungeon ever (not worst m+ dungeon) but to argue we are strictly limited to m+? Gotcha.

this is the worst M+ dungeon - BY DESIGN - not difficulty Ever . and it should be removed personally i would not mind if i lose all of the rio i got from this place including loot if it were to just be replaced with something else tomorrow .

this dungeon is horrific the fact that the community is ok with the state of this place regardless of all the negative feedback during PTR testing is shocking . this dungeon is so bad to the point that even if they add some teleports instead of those flying events and get rid of that Maze it will still be the worse dungeon in the current season atleast due to its dumb routing and the way that they created the dungeon regardless of what you route you pick you always have to go back to either the trilane that splits morchie deios and battle field or back to the sandways where all the portals are which is stupid … its beyond stupid why did they design a dungeon where you have to go back to a certain spot to then reach another part of the dungeon , all of that While the timer is still thicking .

Dumbest design ever .

The dungeon to me feels fine. All bits of RP and such are factored into the timer, and even then they gave an additional 60 seconds. If they removed all the rp and puzzles id guess they would reduce the available time by a good 3-4 minutes too.

My biggest issue with the whole place is that damn sandpit. It utterly destroys.
If you AOE too much, theres too many explodes, if you dont AOE enough, they overwhelm the group. The casts from the mages are spam casts. Touch the sand and it nukes your health near instant, and for tanks sometimes you can be stood on the floor with no sand but your still taking the damage, and this added to adds trying to constantly sidestep you and stand behind you and to the side.

The rest feels suitably fine, and although I am no fan of that maze, it too feels reasonable now compared to what it was originally. The only thing I think they should change about the maze, is that once person 1 makes it, the portal is insta unlocked, without needing 1 or more channelling into it.

Isn’t it the easiest one this season?
