I have to admit, I was thoroughly disappointed with Dornogal’s music.
Although I haven’t checked it in the Blacksmith, so will go and check that out. (Isn’t it just Ringing Deeps?).
Music has always been an important part of WoW for me, Main City music is always a chance to set the tone of the race and honestly I think they failed to hit the mark with Dornogal. Especially after how amazing Valdrakken’s music was.
What I had secretly hoped for this expansion, was a new version of the Iron Forge music. Whilst I think Dornogal’s music does have Dwarven elements to it, it’s not really that impressive. Infact, it’s mostly quite annoying after a few listens.
Also, it lacks variation. Comparing to Valdrakken where there are several different versions of the theme throughout the city. Dornogal boasts a not so impressive 2 different variations, Outside and Inside. There are a couple of times the theme creeps into Isle of Dorn music, but it doesn’t really count.
Also whilst I’m shaming the WoW audio team. The voices overs for the Earthen is horrible and there is no reason not to give Dragan an accent like his parents have. Just delete Dragan altogether, he is a terrible character (unless he gets devoured by the void and turns into a raid boss).
