Hi everyone;

I was wondering if there’s a (legal) way of getting ALL soundtrack from the game.
I found all those expansion album on spotify, but they contain a very few tracks from the game. and none from Later patch or dungeon/raid.

are you asking because you want to listen to it or do you have some kind of ocd that compels you to own every single possible sound file of the warcraft universe?

if it’s the first it’s probs a good idea to specify which music you are looking for so people can give a better response unless you hope a dev is gonna send you all sound files from his pc.

I was initially searching for one specific ingame track, (found it on youtube)
but ultimately, I want to listent to them all. I posted here to:
1) see if it’s legaly possible
2) if not, let blizzard know that some people are intrested.

What a callous reply. Why not just help instead of accusing her of having OCD or saying that she needs the grace of Blizzard or something?

There is tons of music in WoW that sounds great and isn’t on the soundtrack CD’s - and yes, she wants a complete collection.

Obviously she already has the sound files. She has the game files on her computer, duh? Blizzard doesn’t have to send her anything.

She needs a program called CASCExplorer. In it click File → Open online storage → Retail → wait → navigate to sound → music → extract it all → enjoy

EDIT: And yes, pretty sure it’s legal. You’ve already bought access to all the music anyway, and you’re not sharing it with anyone, and on top of that big fansites like WoWHead are basically doing exactly like this with impunity and then sharing it to generate ad revenue for millions of dollars, and Blizzard isn’t batting an eye. It’s quite safe.
