Must I buy a token to transmog?

It costs 1.5k to change transmog… I change very often.

Deflate the price please. Thanks

I was a little shocked at the end of BFA/SL-Prepatch, as the cost of Transmog was quite expensive at that point.

But when you get 1.6k from a Daily calling. I think 600-700g for a mog change isn’t that much really.

Although, I would definitely support a reduction in price.

No. You can also farm gold.

I’ve seen it cost as much as 2.2k
(if you’re mogging over a full set of covenant, with 2 weapons and enchantments)

thats roughly treble what it was in BFA

Transmog costs the vendor value of the item you are looking to change the appearance of… no more.

If you can’t afford it the correct option is to do it less.

Reroll void elf! 50% cheaper mog.

1.5k? Most of my sets cost 804 gold to fully tmog every slot (don’t tmog the wrist to save money in most cases you cant see them anyway)

But now that I’m paying attention it does vary randomly, as I said most cost 804, but then randomly some cost 867, and randomly one costs 367.
How weird.

Blizzard needs to make Void Goblins, the NPCs will pay us to transmog.

Wow that’s quite expensive. I can only imagine that is a bug.

I thought Transmog price was related to vendor price.

My full plate wear doesn’t pay anywhere near that for a full transmog

They cost the vendor value of the item being mogged. The covenant set has an inflated vendor sell price I believe, as do other items which are currency purchases instead of drops.

And lets not forget! They have the best hair options in the game… despite some players being unsatisfied.

Hair colors are bad though, and Blood elves have better hairstyles

You just don’t want to see Void elves get good stuff, jealous is all I can say

But you have Glowy bits!!! That’s awesome.

I’ve often been tempted to switch my Belf mage for a Velf, because the Racial is better and the hair is cooler.

It’s just that some people want the Velf to have the same hair as a Belf… and that just doesn’t make any sense.

You were also going against the void elf fans in that customizations thread who asked for a Black hair color and N’zoth eyes, yet you are Trying to switch it up like they are the bad guys taking away Raid content, when it has no relation at all.

Not only that, but also giving advertisement to the horde. Yeah right… don’t even pretend to be a Void elf fan

change it less, or farm more gold.
you’re welcome.

That’s completely not the point I was making.

I was totally down for N’Zorth eyes.

Sorry i ranted, but I just don’t like people who pretend to be fans of a race, with a hidden agenda hoping they don’t get any customizations at all.

Which is funny because all I asked for was Black hair (something our NPC’s have since 2018) and you basically straight out told me NO it’s better if they focus on Raid content instead.

And then advertised making a Blood elf instead

Mog is love, mog is life

If you think 1.5k gold is a lot of money you’re doing something wrong, Shadowlands showers us with easy gold, even for casuals just with the mission table.
