MW Monk new changes issue

  • Rushing wind kick its bugged - not work with Rising mist not extend hots
    sacrificing jadefire Teachings feels really bad , seems Rushing Wind Kick only for raid build

  • Jade empowerment is a bit clunky especially in Master of Harmony both are attached to thunder focus tea its mean every time u wanna use it offensively you’re wasting buff from Master of Harmony

  • too much spells attached to thunder focus tea :
    -Jade Empowermen
    -Zen Focus Tea -new pvp talent
    -Thunderous Focus Tea - pvp talent extra roll /knockback
    -whole tree Master of Harmony
    e.g.
    pvp knockback thunder tea when u press to knockback some one u wasting both dmg form lighting and harmony dmg/healing
    very nice changes through but implementing really poor

The fix would be to remove this talent, it is giga bloated and does nothing by itself, you pay a talent slot to unlock 2 new interactions with TFT, the game would be better with less knockbacks anyway.

Then they can add a new talent like “expel harm refunds 1 charge of roll” or something

Actually disagree, this talent is really underrated u can outplay people so hard interrupting cast heal/ cc, knockbacking warrior charge etc there is a big skill cap on this talent
only 30 sec cd 2 charges + u can roll 6 time in row its op on bg

I’m not saying it’s weak by any means, just that it would be way healthier for the game if it was removed, as you can now have 2 charges of thunder focus tea cooldown, with the talent empowering 2 spells it means up to 4 chained knockbacks. So it will definitely needs a knockback DR like everything else or be removed.

But… But i wanna role play as Darth Sidious!

Current changes on the PTR are clearly buggy, unfinished work, the 100% damage buff to CJL in the patch notes is not applied properly compared to live, the TFT CJL buff has infinite duration and 2 stacks double the number of targets / damage for a whooping +2000% damage. I expect the damage numbers on TFT CJL to be tuned too, +1000% is a bit ridiculous, I think they will settle on +500%

Despite the bugs, dmg is fine its hitting 150k non crit and can be interrupted that’s mean 0 dmg cos u losing buff , outside CJL your dmg still is bad 15k tick, compared to Preservation Evoker Fire Breath hitting for 900k non crit Aoe , disintegrate has no cd and ticking for 180k , chrono Flame hit for 600k and can be instant + deep breath .
SRS bother u 1 jade lighting hitting 300k non crit every 30 sec and can be failure so many ways ?
Check paladin and shaman changes compared monk it’s a joke they
literally reworking rework from beta they get more rework they every class together

As I said, the +100% damage on CJL does not work on PTR right now. When they fix that bug on the PTR, they will probably think the +1000% is too much especially if it cleaves 5 targets and could lower it to +500%.

CJL does something like 23k per tick in PvP on live (on 6M HP health pools).
After the proposed buffs, it will tick for 46k, and do that over 3 sec instead of 4, which will amount to approx 61k dps, so as a spammable spell its still not that impressive but at least it could be worth using as a filler.

If it stays at +1000% and we factor in the +100% damage that does not work on the PTR, empowered CJL will tick for 506k 5 times (over 3 sec instead of 4). You could further boost it with various talents/trinkets/modifiers so I’m sure you see this could be a big problem.

If it gets nerfed to +500%, then the number becomes 276k per tick which is more reasonable for a 30 sec CD nuke that can be CC’d.

Also, it is possible to have 2 charges of TFT with Master of Harmony hero talents, so you could setup 2 big CJL back to back with stacked modifiers for pog AoE oneshots (on use trinket + sheilun lesson + versa secret infusion + invoker’s delight)

Disintegrate is a finisher that costs resources and Pres Chronowarden talents are “too perfect” and overtuned right now.
