Need more mana. How you got us healing a 10m+ fight when most go OOM in 4 minutes.
(I’ll be reroll shaman for now)

MW was always the easyest healer to raid with, tons of mobility, 2 defensives and really fun but its problem was always mana.
The only hard thing is to actually manage your mana, unlike shamans that crit and get an insane amount of overall mana back…
Maybe try to find logs and check what spells monks use mostly now because there is something wrong when you oom in 4 minutes.
PS
Why go shaman?
Go disc, the way their spirit shell works right now is absolutely absurd. If they dont get nerfed (as they should) they are top tier pick again for another whole XPC like they where on BFA.
it’s not about what spells they use but which ones they don’t. in top logs they use 0 vivify and 10 enveloping (with mana tea or innervate). and these two spells are supposed to be the center of the spec since they’re buffed by every other heal, mastery and bis legendary.
the two viable raiding builds are fistweaving and the superbuffed yu’lon build.
former gives decent sustained HPS but is very situational and requires you to do full melee tactics (which require you to be looking at your character nonstop) so you can forget about looking at your raidframe. the top loggers don’t even use renewing mist on cooldown since it costs too much mouse movement+attention and in melee any distraction gets you killed.
the yu’lon build relies on innervate(s) and gives massive HPS for a short time, after which you’re playing dice for 2 minutes. basically your character becomes a glorified raid cooldown.
if you play them perfectly, both builds will add a mediocre healer with zero raid utility or hard soaks to the raid.
I get what youre saying now, mw was already problematic and my new reroll from BFA S4(hpriest) was a brainless 0 management spec. If now even Hpriest’s have problems can imagine how harsh will be for mw’s
On the other hand… You have these Rshamans getting all this mana back from their passive + ofc the innervates because “opspec”.
Some things will never change in this game i guess!
Max from Limit said it’s not good enough for world first raiding, but it’s played in several top 50/100 guilds. How is it not viable? What happens in the WFR is not relevant for 99% of the playerbase.
If you are ooming in 4 minutes then you are playing your class incorrectly.
