All damage decreased by 25%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
This must be the most pepega nerf i’ve ever seen during my WoW career. Who even came with these numbers ? Flat 25% nerf on every single damage ability is absolutely ridiculous.Monks dont bring battle res , they don’t have hero/blood lust, they don’t bring group wide damage reduction. If they are not the highest healer dps or can out HPS every other healer whats the thing that makes them unique and not a sub par healer from the rest? Clown changes as usual
Disc nerf is relatively small and won’t make a big difference in healing imo. Especially when it’s much stronger than any other healer and still the most prefered one for m+
Nah, atonement nerf is pretty big actually. And it it nowhere close to ‘‘best healer’’ as you claim for pugs setting, probably the worst. No combat res, no kick, no stun. It is horrible for pugging. Shaman and holy paladin are much better picks.
How do you guys rate the first week after the 25% damage nerf to Monk? I have a few characters that I play in >+10 keys, and while my Monk used to be far away in DPS than other classes, now my Disc Priest is doing about the same damage as my Monk.
Basically, that DPS was the only thing that made MW Monk useful and stand out since melee healing isn’t always possible.
Honestly, I’m surprised by such a nerf to Monk without significantly nerfing Disc Priest at the same time.
25%flat nerf biggest halth brain move since disc priest exist and does way more damage, MW should be the meele equal part too it
Tiger palm + blackout kick could need a 100%buff and it would not end up being OP
Mastery needs a buff my beloved hybrid build with rushing wind kick depends on a strong mastery and everyone drops it for haste because mastery is dead nerfed
Blizzard is the worst companie for balance, what a punch of rabbits
Personally i do not find the nerf an issue. iv not noticed a drop in my hps, i mean yes a small dps loss but its negligable. Alot of people needs too understand if you are wiping in m+ or raids its most likely due to players not moving out of stuff. If the team are doing their job ALL heals up too probs key 13 are viable if the player knows how to heal and the team do the merchanics correct. No good or op or buffed a healer is you cant heal stupid simple as. We bring a dmg increase too melee heavy groups so yes monks suffer the plauge of “what monk spec is doing best atm” problem but its something other classes need to live with also.
-25% meaning you are doing less/similar dps than S++++ super turbo meta ranged healer is small dps loss? ouch, thats new.

After this 25% nerf, the obvious happend. Monk is falling down quickly.
From 2nd place just in S tier to now bottom B tier. Probally dropping further.
But we get more nerfs!!! Let’s gooo
Meanwhile Disc gets a boost in M+ healing
We are doing completely fine and healer damage (even tho our damage was high and is still good) is pretty much irrelevant. If the group needs healer damage to time, let’s say, a +15 key or something… then ye… they should not even be doing the key level.
MW is completely fine right now, even with the nerfs. The issue is not our viability to heal a key but getting into a group.
