Hey, just want to post a question here.
Since the new patch released I have, at least on my part, seen abundance of anima. It’s so prevalent, that I have bought everything that the game offers to me. Even the transmog guy next to black market in Revendreth - some daggers and stuff (I am NF).
Do you think they should remove the cap? Cause at this point my next available purchase is at 70 renown (the mount) and my reservoir is full. I will be carrying all the anima in my bag or just destroying it.

I’d support this. At the moment I am in my third Covenant on my main due to the changing meta (remember kids, Shadowlands is about choice. The choice to have a spreadsheet determine the answer in advance. You like this covenant? Tough, you do the most dps with this other covenant ) but it’s not my preferred Covenant.
I have little interest in the rewards of this Covenant and would much rather save the anima so that at expansion end I can dump into the Covenant whose cosmetics I prefer.
I’m going to start stuffing anima rewards into my bank but my bank only has so much room before it will fill out, so if the cap of the reservoir were removed and if the whole transfer anima trick still works by expansion end I would be able to move the anima I’ve earned from a Covenant I don’t enjoy to one which I would.

The whole anima thing baffles me.
I never had much but since this patch throws it at you I thought I’d buy the ponies. Turns out you need stupid achievements for them that I have zero interest in pursuing so meh. Pointless currency for me.
Agreed on removing the cap. I know people with tens of thousands of anima in their bank taking up far too many slots.

100 anima is worth 250 gold (or did they nerf that?)
No. Because MOST people are nowhere near that.

Why would you put cap on most currencies? I can understand it on Valor and stuff. But this is the same currency as War resources last expac. I didn’t see a cap there.

why you want to remove the cap if theres nothing else to buy?
I mean, there is, it’s just really far away. I am not doing any more WQ’s that reward anima and I still get a lot from just playing the game. If it’s possible to reach max with nothing else to buy, they should make some anima sink at least, so I can spend it on something.
so because some people aren’t at the cap they shouldn’t remove it? How does removing the cap hurt the people who aren’t capped?

It doesn’t. But I’m against catering to 1%ers.
1%ers? I am a pleb. 1/10N, not done any M+ or PVP and mine is full on two characters, with their bank filling up rapidly.
This is a ‘normie’ issue. 1%ers don’t care about tmog, mounts and anima.

You get so much anima thrown your way by now just from doing dailies and rares in Korthia that they may as well remove the cap. It didn’t make sense before the patch either since someone really had to go out of their way to farm anima from all possible sources daily to reach it.
While they’re at it they could remove the honor cap as well even if there is the choice between buying weapons or 5 marks of honor when you get too close. The honor cap just feels like its there to prevent players from upgrading all their items when moving from 1600 to 1800 or 1800 to 2100 if they’ve been sitting in the previous bracket for a while.

Pretty sure those 1% don’t care about Mounts, or appearances. They just care about being the best.
I don’t see anything wrong with removing the cap. I mean I would never reach it myself, but if it makes others happy go for it.
I would like Blizz to add an item to the covenant vendors do that I can send excess anima to Alts.
