My Berserker stance concept

Berserker stance
An aggressive combat state that increases the damage your deal by 30%, all damage you take by 15% and reduces all healing you take by 25%.

All healing you take reduction effect remains on you for 8 sec after Berserker stance fades.

Available for all specializations.

Problem here is the same as with old damage taken modifier enrage. It used to be that we took more damage, if you have forgotten. It was a very bad time for warrior in m+. You literally couldn’t bring Fury Warrior, as it took 10% more damage, the warrior would die where others lived. 15% even pushes that further… with a 25% healing debuff as well… dios mio.

As our DPS would get a 30% boost, well - close enough for my point, we would’ve to see the base profile balanced around this new damage potential. So our class base DPS overall would be reduced by about 30% to compensate for this new buff. Maybe, we get to keep a 1-10% of it as an actual DPS boost… that is a huge maybe.

I do believe you agree, anyone wanting to DPS would be pushed into this stance. This includes tanks. As the effect also lingers, there is no point of even trying to stancedance. So you would just be a character that would take 15% more damage and require 25% more healing.

Now, to the point about taking more damage. In raids it becomes very limiting when you do take more damage. This requires you to drop 30% of your damage, for 10 seconds, pre the damage coming in. Lets ignore the loops and hoops. This means, before every tick of bursting damage, you will lose 10 seconds of 30% DPS, let us say on an average fight you will take one burst mechanic every 60 sec. That means, you will drop it at 50 sec mark, then reactivate it at the 05 mark. You got 45 sec of 60 sec up time. Now - if there is rot damage, like Rashook, or any other source of random damage taken beyond a set pattern - then Warrior is now a dead class. You can not bring them. As they will either: Die, be a huge hindrance and barely do more damage than the options that ain’t a chain around the raids leg. Or B) Your DPS will be fluctuating, clunky and you will hate every moment of this 10 sec stance dance routine.

But hey, at least warrior will be good for logs when the raid-prog is over, ye boiiii. Big dam! Big endgame win!
No… that is a big L! Progress is where the game is at. Your class is bad at it, well you better settle in for 3 long months of not doing anything worthwhile.

In m+, warrior is even worse off - there progress never ends, it is the endgame. As damage taken is a huge factor in how pulls will go. Let us not readdress what I already mentioned at the top. Lets end with logistics of the run… You do pull in another mob that can target the warrior? Well, better see that warrior leave 30% of the DPS behind, oh - and do remind the warrior that you are going to pull in 8 sec, as that is the time it takes for the debuff to roll off. Oh pulled on accident, RIP warrior…

I could go on.

Surly, you see now only based on these couple of points how this is such a bad idea. Feel free to work on it. Yet do understand, damage taken for damage gained, is not a “choice”, it is you take X more damage. There is no gain, as the game will be balanced around your new potential DPS.

Itd be terrible in pvp, because the speccs dps would be heavily nerfed outside of the stance forcing you to play at the disadvantage,

Youd just do tje same damage as everyone with it on, and less then everyone with it off, while taking trained due to how fragile ud be

Deathwish is basicly that, just better.
