Does anyone here know why could possibly my brewfest tickets have dissapeared?
I had about 150 x2 characters, cuz I was trying to get the achievements and with the disgusting queue we’ve had on Gehennas I couldn’t even log in the last couple of days to spend it or get enough for the beer box type of thing that costs 200 tokens.
I wasn’t too mad about the queue since I had better stuff to do and I figured that I’ll be able to spend the coins next year when the event rolls over again, but I’m owrried that something has deleted my effors from the last couple of times I logged in the game.
I have a currency tab - with 38 Honor Points … they exchanged Brewfest trokens for Honor Points?
Oops not this one - Level 54 Human Pally Looking in stats (part of Ach. UI) Zero BGs entered, Zero honorable kills - are there other ways to get Honor Points?
There was a hotfix back in Sept 2009 that changed holiday items and currencies to disappear once the holiday was over, so Im guessing the Wrath Classic client includes that hotfix.
Then it normally says “Require [relevant holiday]” on mouseover - the tokens did not.
But you’re probably right as the food and drinks I had in bank for the Achievement are not there either. They did not have the “Requires Brewfest” on mouseover either.
BUGGER Blizz and their half-done fixes!
One mystery still remains - From where do I have 38 Honour Points?
You get the tab when you get a currency that goes into it, no level requirements (baybe 10 - not sure)
Do you know if Honor points are awarded for other things than BGs and Honorable kills?
EDIT: Mystery solved! … Silithyst hand ins revards 19 Honor points per turn in. I handed in two, one for the Quest and one just because … giving me 19 * 2 = 38 Honor Points https://wowwiki-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Honor_point_(pre-4.0.1)
Yes this is indeed the expalnation - A GM told me as much, but he also told me that the tool tip told me this - which it definitely did not, I checked for exactly this before putting Golden LInk and Mudder’s MIlk in my bank with the tokens for later use and Achievement.
The broom always had disappeared from your inventory after Hallow’s End ended - if you were mounted, it stayed for as long as you stayed mounted. I wonder if it had the “Require Hallow’s End” tool tip - I never had any broom this year, and would have checked.
Then this is a very ugly way of wasting paying customers’ time in this game! No one in their right mind would think it is okay to just erase a few hours of gameplay for a player, especially when that player didn’t have enough free time to complete all achievements in the festival in the first place… Super toxic on Blizzard’s end!
