Your character should automatically fix on reset, but that will be another week from now if I’m recalling correctly. The official unstuck service Hartuum linked should help!! I hope you are able to play again properly soon!

Let me guess, you did Garrison intro and you left for the quest where you have to go gather 12 supplies from that draenei fishing village, kill 1 big pale orc and 8 small ones, and once you left the garrison area, the whole world shifted by about a meter, you fell down and you got DCed. Now whenever you log in, you appear above ground, you fall down and get DCed again.

If it´s the case, it´s unfortunately a bug that has been in the game for a while now. Use character stuck service Hartuum linked and DO NOT exit your Garrison on ground mount. Use dragonriding one, otherwise it will happen again and you will have to wait for 4 hours until the service becomes available again for you.

I’m guessing it’s to stop people cheesing a teleport to Westfall (or the Horde equivalent for the ‘default’ teleport spot, not sure which)

It’s probably an old restriction from way back when because now humans have two hearthstones, vulpera have two different hearthstones, everyone has dala and garrison hearthstones, and there’s no real need to rush back to Westfall or Durotar(?) in the modern era.

Ahhh that makes a lick more sense, gotcha. I started playing in Legion so super old exploits are beyond me. Thanks for taking the time to explain!

Man I realy miss the Worgen tp glitch and exploit you used to do to get straight to SW as a Worgen who can never shift back to Human form.

It’s actually to stop you exploiting the fact unstuck used to be a button you could use to nudge you forward through the terrain. ANY terrain.
It was great for exploration / getting into places you shouldn’t.
Alas we explorers require more creative methods these days.
