The title is pretty much TL;DR.
My lvl 60 character is stuck in WotLK, even though I never wanted her there. I used to play Classic and I recently returned. Naturally, I want to go back to Classic, but now there is apparently a different version of Classic and I can’t seem to transfer my old character there.
How can I get my paladin back home?
You can’t. There was an 18 month window when you could clone them to the new classic era servers, as the existing characters all progressed to Burning Crusade classic (which are now Wrath classic). This has been well documented and posted about. Only options are to play your existing character on its current realm, or create a new character on a classic era realm.
