Hi while raiding yesterday the new palace I noticed that single target dps was very bad. Was getting good aoe burst on trash and most of the time topping the meter but on boss encounters I was drop of the list. Any suggestions ?
Hard to say, because I have no clue what number you mean by “bad dps”, as well as have no logs from you to look at.
In general though, if you’re playing felblade/demon blades, also use master of the glaive talent. Plus, your essences, especially crucible, are at rank 1. That’s weird, seeing your neck is level 55.
Additionally, people use benthic gear (specifically socketed at least) to increase their damage by a relatively significant amount. Wrists (the ones that give frost damage proc ideally) and Waist (deal some physical damage) are main ones, plus feet increase crit damage.

Probably cos you named your dh after a mage. It’s confused.
For me this sims lower than the AoE build on Single Target, this is also what I’ve noticed playing. So I wouldn’t recommend this build in the first place.

That is usually the case due to numerous factors. As I said, it’s sim dependent, and I can’t sim for other person’ stuff. That being said though, you only have 1/3 furious gaze trait (therefore, only ~1k haste every demonic instead of ~3k) and no chaotic transformation (unbuffed demon blades). In turn, those factors kinda hinder your felblade/demon blade build.
I’m pretty much going for a generic build, because I really can’t be arsed with multiple sets of gear as my DPS is good enough for a casual. I did read that 3x furious gaze would somewhat reduce the benefit of the 3rd because of haste cap or something?
That can be the case for some people that they sim better with only two. I personally sim higher with 3x FG. To the point that apparently the few 430/435 pieces I got can’t compete with my current azerite (unless they have exact same traits I guess).
I really hope 9.0 won’t get this system anymore. I’m so tired of those traits being on gear and that my builds rely on whatever drops instead of what I want to play.
