My emotes (and error speech) have been extremely quiet for years and it's getting weirder?

Hello!

My own character’s emotes such as /silly, /flirt, or /cheer are extremely quiet. Other player’s emotes are also quiet but seemingly a little better than my own. I believe it started some time during late BFA and has been somewhat inconsistent but never normal since then.
I read, that emotes are bound to the sound effects slider which appeared to be the case for me though they were much more quiet than other sounds also bound to that slider.
Yesterday I noticed that suddenly my emotes volume changed when I moved the dialogue slider (still much more quiet than NPC dialogue).

I thought, maybe the bug has been somewhat fixed but today I logged back into that same character and emotes are back to being affected by the effects slider. Very odd!
Since I first got the bug, I have changed all of my PC hardware several times so it appears the bug is somehow connected to my account rather than my computer.

Please help! I miss hearing emotes!

Edit: Now it changes with the dialog slider again. I didn’t even log out since I started this thread.

For some strange season they placed the emote sounds under the “effects slider” in the audio settings. But instead it should be placed under the “dialog slider”. Or even get its separate slider.

Also when other players emote they can’t barely be heard. Even when the “effects slider” is at 100%. They should really fix this.
