Hi there Blizzard, I could almost curse about these changes to the game over the years. The fact that I would like to spit in between literally speaks in between shows my frustration with the game. I don’t know how to put it smartly, but the game is totally ridiculously bad. Solo Shuffle is the worst game mode this game has ever seen. What’s the point of playing a game if you never bother socializing and it’s still an MMO game. What I want to say about this game mode is that it’s all down to luck.
Gameplay-wise, Solo Shuffle is a confusing adjustment and a stupid mess where people rush from place to place looking for a neck loop in the opponent. I’m totally tired of this and for everyone’s information, play to the tempo, not cc to someone to the death, use the cd as the damage comes in. The biggest problem with Solo Shuffle is the dampening mechanics that make every class of Healer tear hair out of their heads.
And fairly speaking, that’s not all, because Solo Shuffle doesn’t add anything to Wow, it doesn’t give any result or show any player’s true level, and the players themselves also create pain for each season by playing certain specs that are absolutely overwhelming. If Solo Shuffle is to be developed, then every helping magic in the Healer class needs to be completely altered to suit the tempo of the game in this particular mode.
In my opinion, these 1 shots don’t belong in Wow in any way, they are pulled from other games into Wow and they cause insane confusion and take away the taste of gameplay, and I know that no one enjoys it when a character is swiped into the field in less than 0.2 seconds. The PvP needs to change and the power of these spells or attacks needs to be diminished or admitted honestly: Sorry, we screwed up and didn’t realize how much trouble this mode ultimately caused.
So what can we do? How can this be improved? In my opinion, games like LOL, Fortnite, or MOBA in general should not be trendsetting games for MMORPGs, because their mechanical content does not work in games where the characters have 10-15 times the number of spells that can be fired from afar or attacks from close range.
Somehow it just pisses me off that no matter what you do, all the work you did to keep your team alive doesn’t feel like anything. DPS classes have far too much power and this translates into a frustrating and totally-off gaming experience
Before I start planning the New Year, I want to say that there are things where you shouldn’t listen to the players and also the things where you need to listen to the players. The game designers knew better that the Arena mode worked better and added significantly more to the game than the anonymous Solo Shuffle mode. I can already throw straight from the hip that the reason players quit the game is frustration with the tempo that can be heard elsewhere in other games. Maybe Metzen will save Wow?
Oh yes, every review has to have a rating of course: 4/10
