Okay, so my friends phone got stolen which means he doesn’t have the app anymore that lets him do the authenticator thingy nor the old number for the SMS. He tried contacting the support giving them the old number last 4 digit of the credit some payment transactions that went through on the account and none of it is sufficient enough and we have been trying to get the account back for like a week and something now but nothing is sufficient enough. Has any of you had this problem or do you know how to help couz at this point I really don’t know what they want from him

Without either the authenticator or phone number they would have to verify ownership of the account by providing information only they would know (such as the payment info you mentioned but the specific questions vary).
It sounds like your friend may not have been able to provide enough such details to pass the verification.
Hopefully they can still get a new sim card from their provider and access to their old phone number, or remember/find in their records the requested account information.
