I resubbed one month ago for this day of patch because my kids get nostalgic about my chars. So I did previous events for gear, but today I made a big mistake thinking this patch will be improvements. To start with, the story is beyond bad, it got absolute no excitement not even for a 10 year kid, got a lot of visual blood and killing for a sexy(?) white girl with glasses fighting a dull black one eye girl(?), if I assume correctly. I start quest with resto druid and immediately put the new button for my kids to play with, it was ONE BUTTON right? … BIG MISTAKE
The button change from cat specific to caster specific, so as you can imagine, it was a mess. It seems that when I was 50% close/over my target in terms of distance, everything work correctly but then mob move so I have to move, while keeping my eyes on the button not to press if change. But this didn’t happen because while I watch the button, mob move again and when I move again it was that INFINITEZICAL FRACTION of a second that, again, get me out of cat and transform me into a caster. The button should do exactly that, get rid of the burden to watch those buttons, but if fails miserably.
Long story short, it was a real mess, my dream about one button for kids to play was gone. REALLY GONE!
Then I try at least to put it on a macro for targeting. No luck, is not possible, at least at first try. I try then to change spec and modify spec (kind of sad to do that) to match the button, no luck. At this point I’m WONDERING is the team or person behind this, test this button for at least 5 seconds before pushing into production. I MEAN REALLY!!!
This is crazy … THE STORY was very dull, go there, kill that and then back again and again. Are we in year 2025 or 2005? Are so called dev really do something, or pretend they work? How is that satisfying for players?
I have previous hopes in Shadowlands, was really excited first, start movie was great, buy expansion day one and everything, but it turn out to be a really mess and I’m not talking about buggy and sloppy made, it was a real pain, the chores, the dull quests, everything gated, I don’t wanna remember how MANY things got wrong.
We all invest to much time and money into this game, so I’m not gonna let this die without crying. At this point I want to move all my chars to a private server or something, don’t know how or if is even possible but there is no way this so called game experience is even satisfying for so called players.
