My "good" PC goes black/restarts launching wow

Hi so I bought my new computer a little over a year ago, I’ve been playing just fine until a few days ago when it shut down in WoW, I’ve never had any similar issues in my life before.

I’ve tried re-installing, resetting options, updating drivers, dxdiag11, antivirus off, scan & repair wow & some more. After re-installing, I got to play for 5 minutes, joined a BG and it happend again. Now my screen instantly turns black, it used to restart the pc as I press “play”. Some rare times i get a short freeze lag in League of Legends too though, and it also frooze once in league for the first time the other day to the point of having to shut down, so I’m leaning towards a hardware issue? But I’d still say my computer feels flawless in other games, it’s just starting WoW.

I mean I bought a new pc from Omen with RTX3070, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 32 Ram - but is it maybe some worthless PSU? I’ve opened my PC while running, nothing really feels hot, not the PSU. I’ve tried blowing off some dust inside etc.

I’ve truly tried most things I can come up with on my own, I’d HAPPILY take any guidance here, what could it be?

Check Windows Event viewer for any error messages or other information. There might be Kernel-Power events logging unexpected loss of power, or errors refering to bugcheck or similar errors which would indicate a blue screen.

In case of the kernel-power error problem is most likely in the hardware. PSU is possible culprit, but it could also be motherboard

If there are errors refering to bugcheck/bluescreen or display driver has recovered messages then causes could be hardware or driver related.

Thank you! Yeah there were some kernel-power events showing. I’m trying to wipe out my entire pc, otherwise I’ll have to buy a new PSU I guess, if there’s nothing else. Screen just goes black

If it’s a prebuilt computer (you mentioned Omen, so I assume HP?) you should contact the seller or manufacturer for support and possible warranty repair.

Yeah I contacted the seller, a repair might take such a long time though… I wish I could figure it out myself
