Would love there be a talent to swap Rapid Fire and for something more fun. I don’t like the ability since it makes me shoot my rifle like some sort of machine gun, with a pretty average-low damage per hit. Prefer it be a more effective single shot, or some sort of shotgun shot that does more damage the closer the player is, OR would tick instantly 7-12 average-low damage hits on a cone, being spreaded for the targets inside the cone or all concentrated on a single target if it is solo.
Would prefer instead Rapid Fire be a buff like it was back on the start of World of Warcraft (doubling fire rate, or something like that), instead of a lighting-fast-shooting ability. As a hunter i find it would make more sense than shooting dozens and dozens of arrows or bullets from thin air, without nocking arrows or reloading the gun.
I don’t like the abilit too, a three second channel is boring, moreover with the animation they gave it it’s jst not a fun spell, we already have a lot of casts, we don’t need a channel too imo.
The only good thing with rapid fire is we can continue the damage behind pillar.
But there’s too many negative point like :
that spell just 1 cc on you and the spell with 20 second CD is totally wasted
Aimed shot deal way less damage with Rapid fire ( delete Rapid fire and increase Aimed Shot with +100% damage
that make STeady shot disgusting ( since RF give 3 focus, why should you use Steady shot ?)
when a mob die when half of your channeling, half of your damage is wasted.
Rapid fire only good to regenerate focus whencombined with trick shot ( and no one like trick shot. it make MM hunter non viable for MDI) .
I hope they will delete it. I really wanted a sniper rifle in Shadowland, not a machine gun again. I want my big shot back. I hate too Rapid fire gameplay and everything that increase speed.
I prefer a long charged shot to deal huge damage that tiny dart gameplay
