First of all, this season is much more enjoyable compared to previous season! Sadly the Xal’atath affixes are still there. In lower keys the affixes are making it more likely for pugs to mess up, and poorly timed affix spawns will certainly make your life hell. Not fun, don’t like 1/10. Still having the 15s death timer is also 1/10, get rid of it.
Cinderbrew Meadery
- Too many puddles that slow you everywhere
- I’pa is not fun, the adds feel like they have too much health end up being way too spread because of their movement speed varying
Darkflame Cleft
- Still don’t like the minecart event
- If someone didn’t join the minecart and they are all the way back at the previous boss due to a respawn, it’s really hard to get back to the last boss because the teleporter doesn’t work it seems
The Rookery
- The mobs that constantly cast the pull should be permanently sent to the shadow realm
- Second boss pull mechanic is way too punishing for melee in terms of up-time
- Last boss knockback when spawning should be made less strong, or the water should kill you really fast. Being pushed down with no way to get back up there other than swimming at extremely slow speed or pulling the boss is dumb. Finding the right distance is annoying because the boss aggro range is huge, but too far and you end up in the water
- The packs in the area of the last boss are probably some of my favorite this season. Lots of AoE, not too many mechanics, while still being dangerous if miss-played
Priory of the Sacred Flame
- Actually my favorite dungeon, yet I hate doing it in its current state
- This dungeon needs a tuning pass in terms of damage numbers
- tank gets clapped way too hard by (mini) bosses
- bleeds are way too strong
Operation: Floodgate
- Second favorite dungeon of the season
- The shredders flame channel doesn’t always visually rotate, while you will still get hit
- Feels like with the amount of walking it could use an extra 30s~60s on the timer
- Has some FPS issues for me for some reason
- the open world part loads all mobs, and I suspect this is causing my CPU to complain
- the last bit has the blue circles, and it seems like those electric effects, and the boss fight with electric effects are the only dungeons that make my GPU fans cosplay as starship
The MOTHERLODE!!
- The mines are no fun, please just reduce their health by 50% or something
- When the big robots spawn more mines on me as paladin, it’ll spawn inside my consecration under the boss, and that makes the brown circles really, really hard to see
- The flying bots launching the missiles at the last boss are really hard to see. We are conditioned to point the camera in a specific way in WoW, and this requires us to put the camera much lower in order to see them. Maybe add a beam of light or something so we can see them without having to look up
Theater of Pain
- The first big mob that does the AoE you can sooth is too punishing for groups that don’t have a sooth
- Mordretha mostly doesn’t visually turn her beam, you can still get hit by the invisible beam
Operation: Mechagon - Workshop
- I’m just tired of this place
- The garden boss is a visual nightmare,
- The bot dodging mini-game is just annoying and time wasting
- The conveyor belt is annoying and overly punishing for groups who can’t take a shortcut
- The changes that added trash weren’t necessary, there’s way too much now
