My paladin DPS ideas p4

So what i would change for paladin for p4 is i would introduce a new rune that guarantees that seal of command procs (possibly with increased attack power) and put it on the same slot as art of war. This allows twist procs every time.

Remove normalisation from Seal of Martyrdom

Revert art of war to resetting the CD on Exo for players that don’t like twisting and want to keep the exo spam playstyle.

Shockadin - Infusion of light now also allows the paladin to dual wield and melee criticals reduce the CD of holy shock and exorcism by 1 second (maybe allow two seals to be used but they have reduced effectiveness?) Also allows crusader strike to hit with both weapons. Move this to foot slot to compete with art of war and the seal of command rune I mentioned above. Add a new waist rune that causes holy shock to put a dot on the target and converts your intellect into X amount of spellpower.

If you put the seal of command rune, art of war and new Infusion of light rune onto one rune slot it means players have some choice in how they play dps paladin. Fast 2h exo spam, slow 2H seal twist, Dual wield shockadin.

Would like to hear others opinions.

at this point its pretty unreasonable of the paladin community to hog any more of the devs attention.

you are already getting mega buffs and then some, and you’re still not happy.
the paladin change notes on the PTR list is like 2 pages long.

the definition of ingrate.

meanwhile classes that aren’t getting nerfs are seeing like 2 lines of text for their upcoming changes.

priest, for example, literally had 2 changes on the first iteration of the PTR because the paladin swallowed up all of the devs attention.
of course shaman got plenty of attention too, but the opposite kind of attention that paladin got, and i dare say most shamans would have been happy not to get any of that.

Place Windfury / Wild Strikes on Sanctity Aura

I like the idea of Horde and Alliance having things that the other faction doesn’t, apart from world buffs.

You have to be completely unaware or just a troll to speak up like that. As of PTR fast 2H exospam is back, Seal twisting isnt working, DPS(Seal-twist) is inflated in Recount, if you check logs in WCL you’ll see 30-40% DPS difference from what Recount shows.

Problem with SoC/SoM is SoM will always be better than SoC. The twist dps stuff was a big lie, as Recount was inflating Seal Twist damage for unknown reason. If you’d check same log but in WCL, you’ll see that actual DPS is lower. Normalization is removed in PTR.
Honestly, SoC should become some sort of Passive, you cant balance SoC/SoM between each other when they’re both active seals.
They should keep AoW resetting Exo, problem is theres nothing else besides Exo stuff in AoW, that eventually makes it Art of Exorcism.
Shockadin is a good PvP option, while Ret is going to be PvE DPS option. Problem is, theres no Shockadin Gear/Tier sets.
Slow 2H should be a PvE Ret option and Fast 2H should be PvP Shockadin option. Its the best way to handle it

Righteous Vengeance rune should also proc off white crits!

I’d rather want them too keep it for CS/DSб but buff damage for CS to at least 125%.

I’d like to have Righteous Vengeance proc off Holy Shock damage too.
That wouldn’t change much for rets but could give Shockadins an aggressive option.

Because initially the paladin was not in the best condition by design, but what about now? The Paladin received small MEGA Buffs, but we must not forget that other classes also received changes.

yeah we must.
mine, for example, got giga nerfed lmao.
that’s a direct buff to you as a paladin aka alliance player.

now when your paladin beats my shaman in pvp, you can say “thank you aggrend, i knew you’d come through” after calling him a dirty shaman main for like half a year.
