I used to be able to see my party/raid member location on the minimap, and if they were too far an arrow was pointing at them. Randomly it happens that those features don’t show anymore.
Is this a bug? is this cause by an addon? On a MMO you’d assume that seeing where your team is at should be something you could do. So when someone is trying to get others join them, we can’t locate them easily. This is bad for any world content (as few as there is) and off course Warmode.
Try with minimap options.
That won’t do because sometimes they show up sometime they don’t. it’s very random, as everything in WoW now a days.

Thank you for reporting the bugs you find, and helping the developers improve the game for us all. Before reporting this as a bug though, please test this out after going through the steps to clear your UI (addons) completely. Addons can be handy and a lot of fun, but at times can cause some strange issues as well.
If this still happens afterwards, please do report it as a bug. Note that this is not the right place to report bugs though, post any bugs you find through the in-game Help menu.
From the Game Menu, click Help and Submit Bug. Follow the guide lines listed, to write up your bug report in details and help out the teams investigating your bug.
