So some time happened by Shadowlands now and we saw our all time favorite Sin’dorei leader who was wronged many times by the narrative in a time when Blizzard just threw known characters of the RTS games as raid bosses.
But that doesn’t have to be the case anymore ever. The game involved and so did the story. Blizzard became creative enough to write new stories without further runining old and established legends of the past who are by all accounts fan favorites.
Kael’thas Sunstrider. Last true liege of Quel’thalas and lord of all the blood elves. His title is the reason why Lor’themar who I like to call Bob at a time is still just a regent and the throne of the high home remains unclaimed.
He never grew into the role and Blizzard only ever used him when they needed a mirror quest giver for Jaina. At the same time even his marriage to Thalyssra never paid off since her powers pale in constrast to Elisande and she also was never used not even in a story about magic where the Horde was severley lacking before.
So Blizzard I am asking you with all of the respect I can muster right now to bring back the most important of all elven character who might could rival Jaina in appearence, style and magical knowledge and maybe would be able to single handedly drag the red faction out of the mud and give the story that started in TFT WC3 a good conclusion involving the one elven leader that started the whole cycle of the Sin’dorei turning matters into their own hands.

I can just imagine Midnight is going to be about the unity of the Quel’dorei or denizens and former members of the kingdom of Quel’thalas, since (apparently is happening there as a new leveling zone???) And perhaps will showcase more Sin’dorei / Quel’doreis and others in depth lorewise and who knows, maybe iconic new hero talents relevant to the race rather than the class (just mere expeculation) but would be interesting to have a new class or spec for an existing class called Spellbreaker in honor to the WC3 The frozen Throne unit.
Tanky in plate armor that nullifies magic and deals phisical/magic damage and works similar to a paladin but with a different approach & flavour. Again, mere expeculation.
How unexpected… you returned after announcing your departure. Was the trip to the US forums not fruitful?

I do agree here, bringing people back from the dead will make death inconsequential, thats bad for the whole story. Just look at Kingdom Hearts and how death is treated there

But Kael’thas is dead (Twice over, “Merely a setback”, remember?), he’s currently the Venthyr’s whipping-boy, where they’re working to get the arrogance wrung out of him, how do you propose bringing him back?
Besides that slight obstacle, he abandoned most of the Blood elves, to pursue his piffling schemes with Illidan and the Naga (And after that the Legion, who almost destroyed Quel’thalas, when trying to bring Kil’jaeden back), he kind of tossed “Lord of all the Blood elves” aside when he did that, why would average Joe Blood elf even want Kael’thas back?
I’m a bit busy right now… I’ve just found out I’m a Queen (IYKYK) but I’ll get right on being leader of the blood elves as soon as I deal with my Queen stuff! Promise…
