My post count as been reset?

hey guys, anyone know as to why my post count has been reset to 0?
I came on this evening and i’m getting notifications as if i’m brand new to the forums and it’s my first time here? kinda strange.

Are you sure you did not swap the main character from which you are posting?

Nope, this guy had over 350 posts, still showing as my trust level regular also.

Have you transfered servers or anything similar?

I transferred from Draenor to Stormscale during the free transfer, but been active on the forums since then with no issues, only this evening this has cropped up.

Your post count resets when you transfer servers. Probably took the system this much time to catch up.

Really? Well I shouldn’t be surprised with blizzards servers being slow, what’s new.
I don’t really mind, was just confusing.

Make a character with the same name on your old server and your post count will be transferred to it.

Post count is tied to character name and realm name still.

However, trust level is now tied to your account, so that’s why this happened.

I’ve had the same thing happen with the whole Ishayoe -> Pandaclaus -> Ishayo thing.

By the way you’ll retain your old name on any given browser until you log out and back in or clear your cookies, which is probably what you experienced where you could still post with the old name and post count until a seemingly unrelated moment.

I just double checked some characters and different ones have different trust levels. I don’t think it’s actually account wide in general, it is however account wide if you got into the beta. Maybe that’s how you got it?

Yeah its accountwide for beta testers, not for the rest. Wonder if beta testers will ever loose the TL3.

nope, player had beta, beta gave TL accwide for all players and its still there, not been taken away yet.

My Shaman has only recently, as of the last 24 hours, shown as a level 60 and not a level 50.
So it’s probably the server Xfer having only just caught up.
